The main reason I love this show is the stylistic perspective. Each character's perspective of events unfolding are emphasized to resound the philosophy of the main character of that particular scene. With the divinity of break-step hip-hop and some of the slickest scratches matched by the eclectic beats we know and love of the genre.

I first watched Samurai Champloo on Adult Swim. And I'm really glad for that because I would never have seen the dub otherwise. It absolutely is the best English dubbed anime. Even if you don't do dubs, do this one at least once. It's freaking amazing! I too watch Samurai Champloo over and over again. I just love it so much. I haven't watched the dub in a long time because I have been studying Japanese for 4 years and watching dubbed anime would be seriously guilt inducing. But now I'm wanting to watch it again.😊

Just re-watched it again recently.... The only show which is genuinely funny, unlike many other 'rom-COMS' I've watched (specially talking about the dub), the characters are lovable and have depth + not a single annoying character like in most other shows. The story is great and genuinely entertaining with zero to no cringe moments. The only show that's for me is at par with oregairu. I'd actually prefer less people knowing about this, like to gatekeep such shows.

I don't think it's fair to say Dr. Tenma was being an 'emotionless robot' during the flashback where he has dinner with Atom. It seemed to me that he was going through grief and was coming to terms with the possibility that he isn't really a great guy. "No doubt Tobio... also.... hated me as well..." I read Atom as still learning back then. He's always learning, but you know what I mean. Tenma was fully engrossed in his humanity in that one moment. Freaking beautiful.

Everything you said summarizes why this is probably my favorite series ever and one of the very few that I bother reading the manga. I love everything abou One Punch Man way too much

I feel bad for the people watching the anime or that are gonna read the manga thinking the fight of Child Emperor VS Phoenix Man is like that,when in reality it was almost completely retconed in redraws…

I know this recommendation is late, but if you liked Kaguya-sama, you should definitely try the Monogatari Series. It's quite different from Kaguya, but the dialogue, music, story, and most importantly, the characters are amazing
